Do fish drink?
It depends on whether they live in fresh or salt water. Freshwater fish, drink only a little. Saltwater ones drink far more, because they constantly lose water through osmosis and have to maintain their water balance. They retain most of the water and have very efficient systems for filtering out and excreting the huge quantities of salt they ingest.
